Best superyacht refit yard award voted by captains & crew

Nominated by superyacht captains and crew from all around the world, this prestigious global award celebrates the yacht refit yards that offer the best refit services and are commended for their willingness to communicate with captains and crew In order to prioritize the work that needs to be done efficiently.

In 2025, Astilleros de Mallorca SA completed its second photovoltaic installation project, which included roof replacement and asbestos removal, with an investment of €390,111.62. The project aimed to reduce energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and eliminate hazardous materials. The 215 kW photovoltaic installation consists of 392 panels with a total peak power of 258.72 kWp. 2,116 m² of asbestos cement roofing were removed and replaced with sandwich panels.

This project was financed with support from the European Union's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Facility, specifically the Balearic Islands Energy Transition Investment Plan (PITEIB). A grant of €190,003.97 was awarded.
