The Palma International Boat Show 2026 was a 4-day event for businesses, yachts, crew, family and friends to immerse themselves in the world of yachting. The Astillero’s de Mallorca stand was proudly positioned in the refit and repair area, amongst the Palma Superyacht Village – a section specially designed for buying and selling motor and sailing yachts over 24 meters in length. This location habilitated a lot of excited activity in the area, as our team had the pleasure of observing throughout the days.
A mix of Astilleros personnel was attending the stand, including project managers, yacht service and logistic members, and commercial managers, among others. They greeted guests testing multiple languages, networked among nearby stands, explained the Astilleros DNA to a myriad of interested ears, and in quieter periods, stole brief moments to answer emails or continue ongoing project discussions. A steady stream of meetings ticked on in the lounge area, discussing partnerships and future projects with our most highly regarded project managers and management team. The buzz of the coffee machine was a familiar track throughout each morning, and by the afternoon, the minibar seemed to exist in a constant cycle of depletion and replenishment. And above it all, visible from the floating bridge, the Astilleros crane stood, the familiar grey shell logo suspended over the grounds like a quiet point of reference for those who know the shipyard well.
There is something unique about Palma during boat show week. Deals are discussed seriously, schedules are tight, and projects move forward - yet the atmosphere rarely feels rushed. The industry gathers here not only because Palma is strategically important within the Mediterranean yachting calendar, but because it remains deeply social. Relationships matter. Familiarity matters. Reputation matters.
For Astilleros de Mallorca, the Palma International Boat Show remains more than an exhibition. It is a reflection of the community surrounding the shipyard. For Astilleros de Mallorca, whose history in Palma stretches back more than eight decades, the event represents an extension of the shipyard’s long-standing presence within the ports. Discussions held during the show often continue long after the exhibition closes, eventually becoming winter refit projects, engineering partnerships or ongoing technical support throughout the season.
