IGY Marinas
IGY Marinas is one of the largest international marina companies in the world and a leading point of contact for superyachts globally.The company’s network includes 18 marinas operating in 11 countries, United States, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Turks & Caicos, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, France,Italy, Spain and London; with more than 9,000 unique vessels serviced annually. With over 3,200 slips under management, IGY Marinas caters to a variety of markets, including sportfish, cruise, sail and superyacht. IGY Marinas also has more than 400 slips accommodating vessels over 80 feet (24 meters), making IGY the
leading destination ports for some of the world’s largest vessels – servicing more than 1,600 superyachts per year.
In 2025, Astilleros de Mallorca SA completed its second photovoltaic installation project, which included roof replacement and asbestos removal, with an investment of €390,111.62. The project aimed to reduce energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and eliminate hazardous materials. The 215 kW photovoltaic installation consists of 392 panels with a total peak power of 258.72 kWp. 2,116 m² of asbestos cement roofing were removed and replaced with sandwich panels.
This project was financed with support from the European Union's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Facility, specifically the Balearic Islands Energy Transition Investment Plan (PITEIB). A grant of €190,003.97 was awarded.
