Astilleros de Mallorca offers a filtering and separating service for fuel oil. Our separator removes water by coalescence and at the same time minimizes oil contamination levels of particles and oil degradation products (oxidation resin/sludge, varnish) by means of a fine filtration. The system has a filtration degree of 3 microns absolute.
We also offer a cleaning service for fuel and oil tanks including the issuing of Marpol certificates. To allow cleaning operations and hot works to commence on fuel tanks, Astilleros de Mallorca has four storage tanks giving a total storage capacity of 20.000 litres.
All the works will be done complying with safety and environmental regulations. We monitor combustion gases concentration and oxygen levels inside the tanks and working areas, to assure no dangerous levels are reached to protect personnel, yacht and environment.
We also offer laboratory analysis services. Samples are taken by our personnel, sent to recognised laboratories and analysed using state-of-the-art equipment operated by experienced technicians, ensuring that reliable detailed results are delivered every time.
