M/Y BAKHSHISH DELIVERED AFTER EXTENSIVE REFIT PROJECT

For the attention of the management and staff of “Astilleros”.
The two-year project to bring “Bakhshish” back up to full standard with the completion of the “DNV” ten year special survey has now been successfully finished. This success is in a large part due to the your skills and dedication to both the yacht and the “Sheikh” during this two year period.When “Bakhshish” was originally shipped/towed into Palma, from Florida, in mid May 2002, with no pre-planning and her condition generally unknown the bets were on that she would not be in commission for the 2002 season. It is thanks to the hard work, skill and the extra hours put in by yourselves along with your full co-operation with our own selected subcontractors and suppliers that some people, whom should have known better, lost their money when “Bakhshish” has been everywhere between Naples to Gibraltar that summer and since.I would also like to thank everyone, on behalf of the owners, for your dedication in maintaining their family yachts annually since 1982. It has also been a privilege for me to work with you continuously for these past twenty years and hopefully for many more.
